Where the homes are

Off-season rentals in Port Stanley, Ontario

Port Stanley is a fishing village at the mouth of Kettle Creek that swells every July and empties every September. Our homes are here, in the village, available by the month from Labour Day to Victoria Day.

The village runs on a summer calendar. Between Labour Day and Victoria Day the patios close, the parking meters stop, and a stretch of Blue Flag beach belongs to whoever is willing to put a coat on. That is the season we rent. Every home on this site is a furnished summer property being let by the month while its owner would otherwise be paying to heat an empty building.

In and around the village

  • Main Beach — Blue Flag water quality, a short walk from most of our homes
  • Little Beach — 185 m of shallow, sheltered sand on the east side of the harbour
  • The harbour, marina and King George VI lift bridge
  • Port Stanley Festival Theatre and the Terminal Rail line
  • Village groceries, coffee and the pier, all walkable

Why people rent here

  • Walk to the beach, the harbour and the village on foot
  • Off-season rates a fraction of the July weekly number
  • Fifteen minutes to St. Thomas, thirty-five to London
  • A real winter village — plowed roads, open shops, year-round neighbours
