The Retreat

The Retreat is the smaller half of the East Road duplex and the one most of our single-contract tenants end up in. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, newly renovated, and furnished with new appliances and new bedroom sets throughout.

Like its other half it is a duplex only on paper — separate entrance, separate driveway, private back yard, and no shared spaces at all. You are not queuing for a laundry machine or passing anyone on a staircase.

Two bedrooms means one person can work from the second room without turning the living room into an office, or two colleagues on the same contract can each have a door that closes. Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a washer and dryer inside the unit.

Little Beach is a five-minute walk, the village a little further, and there is parking for two cars. Dogs are welcome with a fee — and from September the beaches relax their rules, which is when this becomes a genuinely good place to have one.
