The Escape

The Escape is the one to take when there are a lot of you. Three bedrooms holding four queen beds, so eight people sleep properly rather than negotiating over a pull-out — which makes it equally useful for a family out of their own house for a season and for a crew booked into the area on the same contract.

It has been fully redone. New flooring throughout and no carpet anywhere, which matters more than it sounds in a house being lived in through a wet Ontario winter. The kitchen is complete, there is a washer and dryer in the house, and separate heat pumps run heat and air conditioning independently on both floors — so nobody is freezing upstairs while the ground floor cooks.

The deck backs onto a quiet ravine with a firepit and a barbecue. In August that is where the evenings happen. In November it is a view of bare trees and nothing else, which a surprising number of our tenants say is the part they end up liking most.

Little Beach is a five-minute walk. Main Beach, the harbour, the shops and the restaurants are all walkable from the door. Keypad self check-in, free Wi-Fi, ample parking, and pets are welcome.
